Exercises

  1. Open a new document in Word.
  2. Open up ClipArt, type in Household as search text and insert an image from this category.
  3. Select the image and use the handles to make the image smaller.
  4. Use the handles to make the image larger.
  5. Use the handles to stretch the image sideways.
  6. Use the handles to squash the image to make it more flat.

    7. Examples of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 above are shown here using an image of a household iron:

  7. Copy and Paste the image using the Copy and Paste tools on the standard toolbar, or by using the Edit menu or by pressing keys CTRL+C then keys CTRL+V.
  8. Cut the newly pasted image using either the Cut tool on the standard toolbar, or by using the Edit menu or by pressing keys CTRL+X.
  9. Delete the first image.
  10. Close Word.
