The
aim of the tutorial is to:
show you
how to insert, delete and rename worksheets.
Inserting, Deleting and Renaming Worksheets
You can access the worksheets in a workbook by clicking the worksheet
tab just above the status bar on the bottom left. Each workbook starts out with
three worksheets.
To insert a worksheet:
- Click on Insert on the menu bar.
- In the pop-down menu click on Worksheet.
- The new worksheet will appear on the screen with its tab shown
on the bottom left of the screen.
Or
- Right click on a worksheet tab on the bottom left of the screen.
- In the short cut menu click on Insert.
- The new worksheet will appear on the screen with its tab shown
on the bottom left of the screen.
To delete a worksheet:
- Click on Edit on the menu bar.
- In the pop-down menu click on Delete sheet.
- The sheet will disappear from the screen.
Or
- Right-click on the worksheet tab to be deleted.
- In the short cut menu left-click on Delete.
- The sheet will disappear from the screen.
To rename a worksheet:
- Right-click on the worksheet tab.
- In the short-cut menu left-click on rename.
- Type in the new name of the worksheet on the tab.
- Press ENTER.
